  Welcome to Porzellanmanufaktur Reichenbach

Right in the middel of the "green heart of Germany" - Thuringia - you can find the "porcelain village" Reichenbach on the Thuringian "Porcelain Road". Here, more than 170 years ago, people began to manufacture domestic and and ornamental porcelain. The foundations for the today´s porcelain factory were laid on this historical place in the year 1900. In 1955-1997 the old buildings were pulled down and the modern factory was built on the same spot. since 1998 belongs Porzellanfiguren Gräfenthal to the company.

Many generations were carrying on the porcelain craftmanship in Reichenbach and developed a wealth of shapes and decors. The perfect combination of craftmanship and design has characerized the daily work from the very beginning.

Cobalt decorations on "baroque" style products belong to tradition of the factory and make highest demands of craftmanship and precision. More than 70 operations are neccessary until a cobalt decoration is ready.
This includes manual painting and manual printing on the porcelein.

Gifts in modern shape and decor designs are determining more and more the contemporary production profile of the factory. The reaization of specific and demanding wishes of the customers is an integral part of the firm philosophy.

The quality of the Reichenbach porcelain has become well known far beyond the european frontiers. Exports to all habitable continetns verify the excellent image aof the Reichenbach products. Many a festive tables of of prominnet personalities of the world, kings and governmental presidents has been laid with porcelein bearing the REICHENBACH brand name and giving it the perfect flair.
Since 1830, the name Reichenbach is bound up Thuringian porcelain painting.
The artistically hand drawing of the white porcelain fragments and the business with these products determine the first years of the tradition of Reichenbach.
