Responsible for our current collection is the in Hamburg living designer Gerd Sommerlade.
Before the coorperation between him and our company in 2006 he was working for the trendconsulting division of the brand "Rosenthal Porzellan", creating an international
advertising campaign for the clothing company JAB and developed anniversairy decors for the
75 year form "1382" from Arzberg Porcellain.
He puts his focus in the cooperation with the Porzellanmanufaktur Reichenbach on "rediscovering"
the historical figurine-inventory.
He also interpreted the classic figurines of guard-officers in the collection " PEACE" again.
A handcrafted masterpiece is the collection "COLOUR". In the collection the paint is getting
dabbed by hand, so every piece is an unique. At the end the decor is getting ennobled by a golden edge.
Gerd Sommerlade got inspired for his colourful designs by classical schemes from around 1800.
The dishensemble got his modern charisma through its cavettoless play with shapes.
